PPWR Packaging Compliance — EPR Reports, Right-Sizing & QR Labels
The EU Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR) changes the rules for every shop shipping parcels into the EU, with obligations landing from August 2026. Merchants must keep conformity documents for their packaging, register for EPR and report how much packaging they place on the market, and stop shipping oversized parcels.
This module turns those obligations into a few screens inside the PrestaShop back office, with no spreadsheets. The regulation already applies, so you can start today.

- PrestaShop 8.0 – 9.x; PHP with the standard GD image library enabled (for QR generation) — available on virtually every host; Optional: enable geolocation (International > Localization > Geolocation) for anonymous-visitor country detection on the public recycling page.
- How is it installed?
- Modules > Module Manager > Upload a module — upload the ZIP; The module creates its Sell > PPWR menu and pre-fills recycling instructions for common EU countries; Open Configure to switch each feature on/off and set options (empty-space threshold, filler allowance, default volume, deposit); Add packaging types under Sell > PPWR > Packaging, then upload Declarations of Conformity under Documents; Optional: on nginx, ask the host to protect the uploads folder (snippet in the documentation). To enable the reusable deposit, place a test order to preview the cart opt-in.
