Shipping Cost Label Manager — Hide "Free" & Custom Messages
PrestaShop cannot calculate real shipping cost until it knows the delivery address — so it silently falls back to displaying "Free". Visitors who haven't logged in, or who browse from outside the free-shipping zone, see "Free", expect it, and feel misled when the real cost appears. The result is abandoned carts and angry support tickets.
Your customers see the real shipping situation before they order, so there are no surprises at checkout.

Hide the misleading "Free" label when the real shipping cost cannot yet be calculated (no login, no address, wrong country).
02 Custom replacement message
Write your own text, e.g. "Shipping is calculated based on your address".

Flag "discuss later" carriers individually and show a message such as "The price and delivery date will be communicated later" — for carriers whose cost is negotiated after the order.
04 Consistent across the whole customer journey
The custom message appears on the cart, checkout, order confirmation page, order history, and in the confirmation emails sent to both the customer and the shop administrator.
05 Never breaks genuinely free shipping
Real free carriers available to the visitor's country still display "Free" as expected.
06 Preserves free shipping vouchers and cart-rule promotions
Discounts are respected and displayed normally.
