Upgrade PrestaShop 1.5 to the latest stable PrestaShop 1.6

A complete upgrade package, handled by the team that has upgraded hundreds of PrestaShop stores. Your store is copied, upgraded and tested on our servers — the live shop keeps selling until the new version is verified and ready.

01

What’s included

  • A backup of your current store on our test servers
  • An update to the latest, most stable PrestaShop 1.6
  • Thorough testing of the new version’s functionality
  • Customers and orders synced before launch for full continuity
  • A 15% coupon for PrestaChamps modules (one order, one month)
02

Restrictions

The customer must agree to drop custom changes that differ from the PrestaShop core:

  • Core changes and core overrides
  • Specific modules and themes
  • Old, non-upgraded or incompatible modules
  • Changes to the database structure

Re-creating custom settings on the new version incurs additional charges.

03

The procedure

  • Your store is copied to our test server
  • Maintenance mode + hidden from Google (no duplication issues)
  • The upgrade runs on the test server
  • Our support team tests everything thoroughly
  • The updated version is moved to live
  • Final tests on the installed version — then the store goes active

A newer PrestaShop means better security, better performance and modern modules.
